Let the dorks who would have preferred Genesis ride the prog clichés they helped invent into the grave be damned: for better or worse Abacab is the most adventurous, experimental album of their catalog. Like it's clashing abstract cover art the album presents a set of diverse musical entities united in their radiant, colorful creativity, and often a tech-infused sense of isolation and unease.
